Dr Christina Beckman is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with 17 years of experience working with adults with a wide variety of presenting concerns. She has broad experience across private practice, research, and public health settings. Christina values creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to empower her clients to make meaningful and lasting changes to improve their quality of life. 

Christina has substantial experience working with adults who are living with mood disorders, anxiety, and the impacts of complex trauma. She has also gained much experience in working with clients living with pain, distressing tinnitus, insomnia and sleep concerns and a variety of chronic medical conditions. 

Christina gains strong satisfaction from helping her clients to overcome challenges, gain lifelong skills to enhance resilience and find growth through adversity. She works within evidence-based practice models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Schema Therapy.

Christina holds Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a Psychology Board of Australia approved Supervisor for Psychologists, Registrar Psychologists for Clinical Endorsement, and Provisional Psychologists undertaking Higher Degrees. She is also experienced in providing Supervision for Supervisors.
